In my travels this summer, Silver City was one of the places we went. Once a farming and ranching community, there is not much left but a few houses, a church, and a cemetery.

- My name is Megan and I have a beautiful family that expects to see me walking around with a camera in my hands most of the time! I've been seriously into photography for about 14 years now, started my own business in 2007, and in that time have been able to take several courses, teach a couple, and spent most of my college career in the darkroom. I've graduated from 35mm and manuals cameras to the age of digital and I am also a Photoshop expert. I've been scrapbooking since before I knew what scrapbooking was. My cousin and I used to spend summers putting together notebooks with cutouts when we were in our early teens and I have since graduated to combining both my photographic and artistic skills to turn paper into pieces of art!
I love that last photo. The black and white around the door gives it a ton of depth. I assume that's rust on the door? Paint? It's definitely a freaky red!
